Computer Professionals Inc. is seeking an individual to be a part of our clients' Information Technology team located in Nashville, TN. As a Clinical Support Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting laboratory applications throughout the ancillary departments of the hospital. This includes the support of clinical applications in Laboratory (including Pathology, etc), while also troubleshooting problems, providing technical expertise and supporting both users and vendors alike. Analyzes clinical problems and opportunities in the context of requirements. Recommend and define clinical content to be used within the Electronic Health Record throughout the enterprise. Works with other key project teams and team members to define requirements, design functional solutions, identify and escalate project issues, and ensure the clinical solution meets EHR program requirements.
Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of the healthcare and healthcare IT environment
- Knowledge of leading business/clinical practices and standards
- Knowledge of leading business/clinical practices and standards
- Experience with EMR/EHR strategies and practices
- Outstanding communication skills to work effectively with internal and external constituents
- The ability to translate clinical knowledge into requirements that can be communicated to non-clinicians
Desired Skills:
2 years Lab Systems IT exp
A strong clinical aptitude and or formal background in working as a medical technologist and/or lab tech is desirable.
Hospital Lab experience

Minimum Educational Requirements:
Bachelors degree degree in Health Science, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Industrial Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
Other Professional Credentials:
Prefer any of the following: Lab Tech, Medical Technologist, RN
