Sr. Lean / Agile Project Manager (5033C)

We are actively seeking a Sr. Lean / Agile Project Manager for a contract to hire opportunity in Nashville, TN. This person will be responsible for planning, estimating, staffing, organizing and monitoring multiple and complex projects. This person will work closely with business leaders, the customer engagement team and associates in the PMO to estimate time, costs, and quantity of resources required to successfully implement production projects. In addition, the Sr PM will create detailed project plans including cost, risks, schedule, and resource requirements
Responsibilities Include:
• Plans, estimates, staffs, organizes and monitors multiple or complex projects
• Gathers required data to evaluate objectives, goals, and scope of projects and specifications
• Ensures projects progress on schedule and addresses any delays in a timely manner
• Proactively identifies and mitigates project risks
• Plans and controls scope for complex, ambiguous or fluid projects
• Gathers and compiles budget for project including capital or equipment components
• Creates detailed project plans including cost, schedule, and resource requirements
• Creates reports for upper management
• Provides timely communication to stakeholders involved in the project to maintain focus and keep the project on track
• Manages responsibilities and goals for project team
Required Skills for Sr. Lean / Agile Project Manager
• 7-10+ years of relevant working experience, preferably in the Healthcare IT industry.
• In addition, candidates who also have experience working in group purchasing and with supply chains are preferred
• Must have strong project planning and implementation skills including reporting and directing the work of others
• Must be experienced implementing projects using Lean/Agile/Scrum methods
• Strong background developing budget estimates for project proposals
• Experience creating meeting agendas with clear outcomes, timing, and preparation needs
• Possesses strong written & verbal communication skills and is experienced leading and facilitating meetings with all levels.
• Strong leadership experience, especially leading a project team through complex and ambiguous phases on a project
• Possesses strong problem solving skills
