Systems Administrator Position (5024C)

We are actively seeking a Systems Administrator for a 3-6 month contract opportunity in Daytona Beach, FL. System Administrator role is to design, install, administer, and optimize company servers and related components to achieve high availability and performance of business applications supported by tuning the servers as necessary.

Responsibilities Include:
• Implement policies, procedures, and technologies to ensure Exchange server, Active Directory security through secure access, monitoring, control, and routine security evaluations.
• Recommend, schedule, and perform software patches, upgrades, and/or purchases.
• Monitor, test, and analyze e-mail system and server software activities to ensure maximum performance, efficiency, and availability.
• Develop, implement, document, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for supported systems
• Provide support to SAN administrator.
• Assess need for any messaging system reconfigurations and then execute.

• 5+ Years using Windows Server ’03 and ’08.
• 5+ Years Active Directory
• 5+ Years in Exchange 2000/2003
• Working technical knowledge of current messaging and collaboration systems software, protocols, and standards.
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining all manners of server hardware and associated network equipment, including SCSI, RAID, and I/O topology.
• Must be capable of lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds, and be able to push/pull, stoop, walk, sit, crouch/squat, stand, hold and reach.
