Sr. Linux Server Engineer (5005C)

We are actively seeking a Sr. Linux Server Engineer for a 5+ month contract to hire in Nashville, TN. 
 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain Unix/Linux server stability
• Maintain applications on Linux environment
• Lead efforts for server modifications and scaling
• Must be able to provide technical expertise on a variety of platforms in addition to Unix. For example, Windows servers, databases and network components.
• Excellent knowledge of SDLC processes
• Lead on code migration team for product go-lives and QA deployments
• Work with outside vendors

• 5+ Years as a Unix/Linux Systems Admin/Engineer
• Excellent working knowledge of server hardware and configurations
• Knowledge of network components, topologies and protocols
• Some exposure with security practices
• Must have experience with Active Directory
• Project Management or Team Lead experience is a plus
• Database familiarity and knowledge of SQL are desired
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
