Ruby on Rails Developer (4899C)

We are actively seeking a Ruby on Rails Developer for a contract to hire opportunity in Nashville, TN. This person will be part of a small entrepreneurial development team responsible for development and support of new products and features using Ruby on Rails within a SCRUM process.  This is a start-up environment that will require passionate and flexible team members.  This is a mid-level Ruby position that requires a solid software development foundation.  

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience developing Ruby on Rails based applications
• Production launch of RoR based applications
• Excellent knowledge of Linux based platforms
• Proficiency with MySQL
• Knowledge of TDD with RSpec and TestUnit
• Experience working in an Agile development team
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Desired Skills & Expertise Include:

• SOA
• Gaming, social media and/or mobile development experience
