Infrastructure Project Manager (4806C)

We are actively seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager for a position in Nashville, TN. The project manager will work in a mature, PMI process driven environment and will be responsible for full project lifecycles. Projects may include gap analysis, assessments, implementations of new methodologies and best practices, software migrations and upgrades, software/hardware implementations, and infrastructure projects in distributed healthcare environments. This position requires prior experience as a Project Manager in large scale enterprise environments.

Responsibilities Include:
• Planning  and controlling scope for complex, ambiguous or fluid projects
• Managing project requirements such that final solution matches not only the written specification, but also the business need
• Ensuring specific requirements are met and approved by users, where critical, to project results and timetable
• Ensuring appropriate formal and informal communication of project status to the project core team, supporting IT staff, actively involved business partners, and senior leadership
• Projecting future needs and identifying risks/issues and working with resource managers to resolve
• Applying and tailoring client's methods and PMI standards to define the appropriate Risk Management strategy (including mitigation, acceptance, avoidance or transfer) for a complex project
• Maintaining an Issue tracking process that ensures team members can submit or review issues without going through the PM
• Anticipating complex cross function issues and facilitating resolution, escalating issues to executives with the proper balance of urgency and calm/composure

 

• 5+ yrs Project Management experience, in a healthcare environment
• Knowledgeable of PMI standards- PMP certification strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Documented experience managing enterprise level, distributed projects through entire lifecycle
• Solid skills with MS Project and other PM tracking tools
• Experience working in PMO or as Program Manager is preferred
• Professional demeanor and exceptional presentation skills
