Sr. Product Analyst (4702C)

We are actively seeking a Sr. Product Analyst for a long term contract opportunity in Nashville, TN. This person will collaborate with development, technical entities/vendors, and project team members to provide hands-on expertise to resolve significant service delivery or functionality issues with a product.
Responsibilities Include:
• Maintain involvement and knowledge of projects related to their products and has responsibility for any product issue that places the project at risk.
• Lead successful implementation of fixes, patches and version upgrades released by a vendor, collaborating with project teams to evaluate and decide upon their application for client.
• Establish release schedule definition for the product, balancing vendor updates with the needs of client
• Represent the IT product owner on projects, contributing detailed knowledge of product features and functions, working with software vendors and product development peers to understand new product features.
• Support product implementation, customization, or development and document technical requirements. Participate in system support, customer support, incident resolution, and issue escalation procedures.
• Participate in pilot preparation, coordinating rollouts, documenting process through initial deployments and transferring deployment responsibility as needed.
• Implement & manage business maintenance requirements for the system in production including resolution of system issues, discovery of new configuration requirements and the configuration of constituent applications. Oversee deployment of changes into production.
• Leverage deep knowledge of product(s) functionality to contribute to requirement definition activities for initial product deployment and product enhancements. Participate in vendor evaluations for products that are projected to deliver significant business value, require infrastructure changes, or present significant technical or operational risk.
• Develop or maintain updated product documentation, assist in the preparation of the product testing strategy and testing execution plan.
• Assist testing stakeholders to make sure the new system meets the user's needs.
• Participate in the development of user documentation and manuals, training material, and/or job aids.
Required Skills for Sr. Product Analyst
• 3-5 years proven experience in a Product Analyst role, supporting multiple projects at one time
• Provide recognized knowledge of product features, functionality and utilization of products.
• Collaborate with project teams and business partners to meet IT project objectives for products that are projected to deliver business value, require infrastructure changes, or present technical or operational risk.
• Collaborate with project team members to provide product expertise, design detailed product functionality, identify and escalate significant project issues, and ensure the products meet specified requirements.
• Provide hands-on expertise to independently resolve service delivery or functionality issues with a product, frequently communicating with end users and vendors.
• Contribute product knowledge to trainers, documenters and testers.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with peers and superiors, especially under pressure.
• Skilled in problem solving, interpersonal relationships in the workplace and conflict resolution.
• Strong organizational and problem solving skills are essential.
• Knowledge of Healthcare delivery is a plus
